Thimmappa M Gollar  (Tim)
Indian Film Director

Home born in 1989 in a small spiritual village, Akkalkot in Solapur. He was brought up in two different cultures, from Mother side in south Indian temples in Karnataka and from Father’s side in the dream city, Bombay since 1991. Riding between the 2 different cultures he grew up respecting both aspects of life.
Owner of a production house, THIMMAPPA FILM COMPANY.

Thimmappa Gollar (Tim) is a self-taught director achieving heights of success and happiness in the industry, creating moments as a growing director. His motivation of getting into this field touches the hearts of many. He grew up listening to stories from his grandfather’s close friend, Mr. Amar Abdulla Shaikh, whom he considered his own Grandfather. The love of listening to stories soon turned into the love and joy of directing them.
He dropped out of Sir JJ Institute of art and started learning cinema with his own experiments. His love for cinema gives him altogether a different vision towards it. This is the place where he feels himself, surrounded by the vibes, the people he respects. Finding moments every now and then which he will keep with him forever. Apart from directing you will find him Travelling, his way of happiness. He loves to explore lesser-known places, try and dissolve into the local culture of the places. He has been to a lot of places but still feels a larger part of the world still awaits him to breathe its air.
Accidentally when he directed a scene in a film for someone in the advertising agency, he got back thinking positive about himself and realised his strength as a film maker and hence started working as one in 2014. Till date he has directed a good number of advertisements, music videos, short films and works with full heart and  emotions when it comes to cinema.
